Android 9.0 Pie

Downloaded hp smart app using s20 fe and hp d110, worked great then stopped.

According to printer its online and connected, smart app recognizes printer. In app it says printer wifi is off. Can no longer print/scan from phone??? Attempted to try another print service (samsung) and it can't find printer, even though printer indicates that its online and connected to home network.

Reset the modem, the printer and the Android device. Deleted app and printer, then reinstalled. Changed nothing.

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Its really odd that hp doesn't support thier own products (hp smart app) A link to set-up a printer isn't helpful, the issue is the hp printer is not working with hp smart app, when it previously worked great. The printer works when not using android device and the hp smart app. An endless loop of referring me back to help with the printer is pointless.

Followed your link, and it indicated there is no support available since warranty is expired. I can only assume that hp will only support there products if they are new or under warranty, why would anyone bother with hp if hp doesn't support hp smart app?

The "appropriate team" informed me that no help with the app is available since the printer is not under warranty. The issue is with the app that is required to use hp products and not the printer. (Printer works from laptop but not hp smart app) Only real conclusion is to NOT buy hp printers, since the app isn't working???
