Hi @Vallyn89,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP DeskJet 3772 shows as ready, but the print option is greyed out and you cannot print. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

a. Check Printer Status

Make sure the printer is powered on and shows “Ready” on the display or control panel.

Ensure no error lights are blinking.

b. Restart Devices

Turn off the printer, your PC, and Wi-Fi router (if using wireless).

Wait 30 seconds, then power on the printer first, followed by your PC.

c. Set Printer as Default

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners.

Select your HP DeskJet 3772 and click Set as default printer.

d. Check Printer Connection

If using USB, make sure the cable is firmly connected to both the printer and PC.

If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer and PC are on the same network.

Try reconnecting the printer in Windows if needed.

e. Update or Reinstall Drivers

Go to HP Support → search DeskJet 3772 → download the full-feature driver/software.

Install it as administrator and follow on-screen instructions.

f. Run Windows Printer Troubleshooter

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters → select Printer > Run.

Follow prompts to detect and fix issues.

g. Clear Print Queue

Open Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners → DeskJet 3772 → Open queue.

Cancel any stuck print jobs that may prevent new jobs from printing.

I hope this helps.
