Hi @Herrera0288

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble getting your HP printer to show up in your Wi-Fi network list, which can be frustrating. Let's troubleshoot this step by step to get your printer connected to your Wi-Fi.

1. Ensure the Printer is in Wireless Setup Mode

First, make sure that your printer is in the correct mode to connect to Wi-Fi. Follow these steps:

  1. Power on your HP printer.
  2. On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless icon (or button) so that the wireless light starts blinking.
  3. If the wireless light is off or solid, press and hold the Wireless button for 5-10 seconds until the wireless icon starts blinking. This should put your printer in wireless setup mode.
  4. Then, select Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer's menu. The printer will begin searching for available Wi-Fi networks.

2. Check Your Wi-Fi Connection

  • Check that your Wi-Fi router is working and that you know the network name (SSID) and password.
  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is a 2.4 GHz network, as some printers, especially older HP models, may not connect to 5 GHz networks.
  • Confirm that your computer or phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want your printer to join.

3. Use the Printer’s Control Panel to Find Your Wi-Fi Network

  • Once in Wireless Setup Wizard mode, your printer should display a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Use the arrows to scroll through and select your Wi-Fi network.
  • If you can't find your network, check to ensure that your router is not hiding its SSID (the name of your network). You might need to log into your router settings and ensure it is broadcasting the SSID.

4. Manually Enter Network Information (if needed)

  • If your network doesn't show up in the list, you may need to enter the network information manually (such as the network name and password). You can typically do this by selecting Enter manually after the printer doesn't find your network.

5. Reset Printer Network Settings (if needed)

If your printer still isn't connecting, you may need to reset its network settings and try again. Here's how:

  1. On the printer’s control panel, find and select Restore Network Settings or Reset Network Settings (this might be in the setup or network menu).
  2. This will reset the printer's network settings, so you can start fresh with the connection process.

6. Reboot the Printer and Router

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
