Hi @Sony69,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already tried many of the basic troubleshooting steps. Here are a few additional things you can try to get your HP Smart Tank 7602 All-In-One printer back online.
Check Printer’s Network Settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to the network settings or wireless settings menu.
- Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- Print a network configuration page to verify the printer’s IP address and connectivity.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Go to HP’s official website and check if there’s a firmware update available for your model.
- If an update is available, follow the instructions to download and install it.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the current printer software from your computer.
- Download and install the latest version of the HP Smart app or full printer software from HP’s website.
Assign a Static IP Address:
- Assign a static IP address to your printer to ensure it doesn’t change and cause connectivity issues.
- You can do this through the printer’s control panel or your router’s settings.
Check Router Settings:
- Make sure the router’s firewall or security settings are not blocking the printer.
- Ensure that the printer and your computer are on the same network band (e.g., both on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz).
Reset Network Settings on the Printer:
- Go to the printer’s network settings and look for an option to reset network settings.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network after resetting.
Check for Interference:
- Ensure there are no devices or obstructions causing interference with your Wi-Fi signal.
HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from HP’s website. This tool can diagnose and resolve common printer and scanner issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
