Microsoft Windows 11

Can anyone help since HP is beyond totally useless and will not do anything for me.

I made the mistake of buying an HP Envy Pro 6455 on 2.2.2021.   It never stays connected to the computer or internet.  I constantly had to force it to reconnect.  I finally gave up on the WiFi B.S. and went wired.  To this day, this POS will not allow me to print a **bleep** thing.  It constantly tells me offline...wired via cable is off line.  HPSmart endlessly tells me there IS NO PRINTER and despite removing and reinstalling this printer...nothing ever changes.  The constant endless failures are the only thing this useless printer and this other HP product I'm typing from get me absolutely no where.  And HP will not do a **bleep** thing to support this worthless.

Anyone have any clue on how to get his awesome product from this company to work?  I live on social security as I am disabled and I don't have spare money to be throwing around on buying printers and paying company's that don't want to support garbage they sell to stupid people like me without the expectation of even more extortion to get their defective junk to work (and for how long before extorting even more money as this has been an ongoing problem for the entire time I've had this dust collecting paper weight just costing me money in consumed electricity while never doing what it was bought to do...ACTUALLY WORK AND PRINT.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated because HP is totally useless and I'm able to buy another product from a different brand and use this useless..  You can tell from tone, I am BEYOND FED UP with HP and the entire process of modern technology and less than acceptable product support.  Your input is, in advance, greatly appreciated.  Stay well.

Hi @nothingworks645,

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are facing issues with connectivity. I'd like to help!

The printer supports dual bandwidth wireless connection.

Product Specifications for the HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer (5SE45A)

Connectivity

Ports

1 Hi-Speed USB 2.0; 1 Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual band)

Wireless capability

Yes, built-in Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n

Make sure the router is supporting and broadcasting the bandwidth(s) you expect to use.

Assign a separate SSID network name for each bandwidth.

Both bands can use the same Wireless password for the network.

Connect the printer to the SSID network you are using for the printer.
