Hi Ryan,

  I tried many ways to get the card to work. I even plugged the card into my computer to see if it was visible. The 3100W was visible to my computer when plugged in to it. In the end, I decided the 3100W for some unknown reason doesn't work on my M553 printer. I decided to return it and not spend anymore time on another 3100W. 

Sorry, I imagine you like me are hoping its just a bad unit.
