Hi @Reintegrate ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e appears connected to your Mac but isn’t printing, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure the printer is turned on and is not showing any error messages on its display.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it for a minute. Then, restart your Mac. After your Mac is fully booted, plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your printer. You can check for updates via the HP Support website.

Reset Printing System:

  • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Right-click (or Control-click) in the printer list and select Reset printing system. This will remove all printers. You can then re-add your printer.

Re-add Printer:

  • After resetting, click the + button to add the printer again. Make sure to select the correct printer from the list.

Check Print Queue:

  • Open Printers & Scanners and select your printer. Click Open Print Queue and see if there are any documents stuck in the queue. If so, try canceling them and send the print job again.

Try Different File:

  • Sometimes the issue can be file-specific. Try printing a different document or a test page.

Use HP Smart App: HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

  • If you haven't already, try using the HP Smart app to manage your printer. It can help with setup and may give you more information on the issue.
