I just purchased an Arris G36 router/modem.  Everything in my house is connected to internet however try printer hp 7520 will not connect. I have tried the wizard setup several times.  It just states that the MAC filtering may be enabled. I have already had the Mac address permitted for my new router.

Hi @Donna1953,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are unable to connect the printer to the new network.

To assist better -

  1. Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
  2. What is the distance between the router and the printer?
  3. What is the encryption type set on your router ( WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3)?

Let me know!
