Hi @JohnHS,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you need to reconnect your HP 9010 Pro printer to your new Quantum Fiber Wi-Fi network. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you out.
- Access Printer Settings: First, you'll need to access the settings on your HP 9010 Pro printer. Usually, there's a touchscreen display or a control panel on the printer itself where you can navigate through the settings.
- Find Wi-Fi Setup: Look for an option like "Wireless Setup Wizard" or "Wi-Fi Setup" in the printer's settings menu. This option is typically located under the "Network" or "Wireless" settings.
- Select Network: The printer will search for available Wi-Fi networks. When your Quantum Fiber network appears in the list, select it.
- Enter Wi-Fi Password: If prompted, enter the password for your Quantum Fiber Wi-Fi network. Make sure to enter it correctly.
- Complete Setup: Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. Once the printer is connected to your new Wi-Fi network, it should be able to print wirelessly.
If your printer still doesn't discover the new Wi-Fi network, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Restart Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart Router: Try restarting your Quantum Fiber router as well. Sometimes, router reboots can help resolve network connection issues.
- Check Wi-Fi Signal: Ensure that your printer is within range of your Quantum Fiber Wi-Fi signal. If the signal is weak, try moving the printer closer to the router.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP 9010 Pro printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes improve compatibility with new Wi-Fi networks.
- Manual Connection: If the automatic setup wizard doesn't work, you can try manually entering your Quantum Fiber Wi-Fi network's SSID (network name) and password into the printer's settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
