Hi @Oakridge123,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the issue could be related to the new Sky Hub's settings or the printer's network configuration. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot.
Check Wi-Fi Settings on the Sky Hub:
- Ensure the Sky Hub is broadcasting the Wi-Fi network (SSID) correctly.
- Confirm that the Sky Hub is using the same network settings (2.4GHz or 5GHz) that were used with your previous router. Many printers, including the HP Envy 4507, work better on the 2.4GHz band.
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:
- Reset the network settings on the printer by navigating to the Wi-Fi settings menu and selecting the option to restore default network settings.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the printer's display panel or the HP Smart app (if available).
Restart Devices:
- Restart both the Sky Hub and the printer to ensure both are refreshed and any temporary issues are cleared.
Ensure Printer and Hub Compatibility:
- Double-check that the printer supports the type of encryption your Sky Hub uses (WPA2 is typical).
Use HP Smart App:
- If you have the HP Smart app on your phone or computer, use it to reconnect the printer to the new Wi-Fi network by following the setup instructions.
Update Firmware:
- Ensure that both the printer and Sky Hub have the latest firmware updates, as these updates can often resolve compatibility issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
