I have an HP deskjet2755. it keeps printing the wireless quickstart guide as well as the printer information page. it won't stop. I have tried resetting the printer, have checked for firmware update, have disconnected power for more than 60s. I don't know what else to do. Please help as it has already wasted a lot of paper and ink. I have currently emptied the paper tray.

If your HP DeskJet 2755 keeps printing the wireless quickstart guide and the printer information page repeatedly, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue:

1. Cancel All Print Job:

  • On your computer, go to the Control Panel or Settings.Navigate to Devices and Printers or Printers & scanners.
  • Find your HP DeskJet 2755 printer, right-click on it, and select See what's printing.Cancel all print jobs in the queue.

2. Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer back on.

3. Check for Stuck Print Jobs on the Network

  • If your printer is connected to a network, there might be a stuck print job on another device. Check all devices connected to the printer and clear any print jobs.

4. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall the current HP printer softwareVisit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP DeskJet 2755.Install the downloaded drivers and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your printer again.

5. Factory Reset the Printer

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer's control panel for about 5 seconds until the Power light blinks.This will reset the printer to its factory default settings.

6. Check for Firmware Updates

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up to date by checking on the HP Support website for any available firmware updates. Download and install if necessary.

7. HP Smart App Configuration:

  • Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.Use the app to configure your printer and check for any issues.

8. Network Settings

  • Disconnect the printer from your wireless network and reconnect it. Sometimes reconfiguring the wireless settings can resolve the issue.
  • Press the Wireless button on the printer to start WPS mode.
  • On your router, press the WPS button to connect.
