My printer has been printing the wireless quick start guide at random intervals when it is fully setup on wifi. It is wasting alot of ink and paper and i can't work out how to stop it.

I have run through the setup again hoping that would clear it but it is still doing it. 

I have resorted to keeping it off unless i am using it which is an inconvenience and interfers with hp instant ink. 

Any help will be appreciated.

I understand the wireless guide prints at intervals.

 

Try the below suggestions-

 

 Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
