Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer and laptop are both connected to the same network. Signal strength is strong on my printer and my laptop has no issues with the connection either. When I try to setup the printer the laptop cannot find it. The HP Print and Scan Doctor cannot recognize a problem. My husband is also having the same issue on his laptop.

I have the same issue except I'm using an inkjet printer. It shows I am connected to a network with a strong connection with my printer and my Android smartphone. My standalone printer cannot open any apps because I'm not connected to the internet. I was previously connected with my printer I don't know what happened. I just use a Bluetooth connection between my Android phone and my printer and that works with an app that I downloaded. I cannot find the answer anywhere oh well I don't print that much I'll just use the Bluetooth connection. But the internet would be nice for my printer because it is a standalone printer and it connects by itself when it's working right.
