Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

macOS 12.0 Monterey

Printer can't connect on wifi, or at least can't be found for printing from other devices. When I plug it into the router, I can use HP Easy Print, I can't figure out where the printer itself shows the current IP address, but printed a report and found it, and have tried setting that as the manual IP address also. I can access device settings at that IP address from my laptop, when the printer is plugged into the router, and I can print then also. But in Wireless Configuration I select the SSID, enter the pwd, Apply, it shows at the top that it will connect to that once I unplug the printer from the network. After doing that it still doesn't connect, shows as offline on my laptop, and the IP address can no longer be accessed from my laptop. I've looked at my router settings, all the printer settings, switched between 2.4 and 5 GHz, followed instructions on here from other people, got closer but still doesn't work. Firmware is 2012, can't find a way to update the firmware?
