LaserJet M15w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

After moving houses and setting things up in the new place the wifi on my LaserJet M15w just won't work. The button flashes white when I turn on the printer but then turns off and does nothing when I press it (not for 1 sec, 3 sec, 20 sec etc, I have tried it all). Also tried troubleseeking in the app (no troubles decteced) and re-installing firmware. Of course the warranty JUST expired... I have seached for hours for how to fix it - please help!

Welcome to the HP support6 community.

I understand that you are getting printer connectivity issues, follow these steps to fix the issue.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- Click here

Restore the printer to factory-set defaults

Refer to the steps mentioned on the page number 50 in the user guide:- Click here

Follow the steps mentioned on page number 37 in the user guide to connecting the printer.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
