LaserJet MFP M281fdw
iOS

I have a LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw printer.  The printer will not print multiple print jobs without it being powered down and turned back on or recycled.  It will print multiple pages within a single print job OK, but the only way I can get it to print another print job or file is to power the printer down and turn it back on.  This happens if it is connected via Ethernet, WiFi only,  or direct print.  I have tried it with a Mac workstation, different iPads and iPhones, always the same thing.  I even tried pressing the reset on the screen with no avail.  Rebooted the modem and Apple Air Port Extreme and went through the menu on the printer to verified no updates needed.  After it finishes the first print job, I attempt to send the next job, it lights up just like it normally receives a print job, but then just stops.  Is this a hardware failure or did I miss something?

Sorry did not receive notification of the posting but I coincidentally updated the printer firmware and that resolved the issue!  Oddly enough, I checked the firmware from the printer screen menu but it stated current.  When I went through the web site it stated there was an update available which I downloaded.  Everything working as expected now.
