Hello Community
I wondering if you can offer any insight to a problem I am having.
I am using Windows 10 machines, connected via Wifi to a 1GB LAN.
On the LAN I have a Jetdirect 175x connected to an Laserjet 1025 printer via USB.
This is a new installation ( I know its older technology) and the problem is:
When I reset the JetDirect back to factory settings either one of 2 laptops will print the test page, but within 5 minutes the same laptop will get an error saying it cant connect to the printer 😞
From then on I cant print anything always gettign the "unable to connect" error.
Looking on the JetDirect page I can see that the number of TCP/IP connections refused increases depending upon how many times I try to print.
I have tied adding both laptops to the access control list, but he problem still persists.
I have lowered the network down to 10 but still the problem still exists
On the server the power light is blinking constantly.
I have changed both the USB and network cables with known working ones.
My first thought is this a supported configuration?
If it should work any views on how I can get the configuration correct ( it is HP to HP afterall)?
Thanks in advance for any views
Johno
