Hello - I have changed WIFI networks and I am unable to connect my Laserjet Pro M15w to the new network. It connected to the previous network correctly.
I am using Opensuse Leap 15.1 linux and have used the hp-setup utility to set the printer up, but it always fails to connect and return an ip address. When I print the printer configuration report, the wireless configuration still has the SSID of the previous network.
I have tried various factory resets, such as
Power off
Press and hold resume/cancel button
Power back on while holding the resume/cancel button, and continue holding it for 20 seconds.
This does not work, and the configuration file still has the old network registered.
Please can you tell me the best way of performing a factory reset that actually works?

Hi,
Make sure the printer is ready and the power light solid lits.
Press and hold the Wireless button for about 20 seconds, as soon as both the Power and Attention lights blink together, release the button and the printer will restart.
Make sure you see an HP-Setup SSID listed in your nearby networks and then run the hp-setup utility to reconnect the printer.
Please let me know if that helps,
Shlomi

Hello.
The reset appears to have removed the old SSID from the printer configuration - it is now simply saying that it is not connected, along with the hardware address. However, when running the hp-setup utility with the printer connected via USB, it still will not connect to my network and does not provide an IP address,
What do you mean by "Make sure you see an HP-Setup SSID listed in your nearby networks and then run the hp-setup utility to reconnect the printer." What is the HP-Setup SSID? There only appears to be the WIFI direct SSID for the printer.
Kind regards.

That's because the USB cable is connected, this is normal not to see an HP-Setup network.
Sorry for that, as I'm less familiar with Linux which is quite different.
What is your router brand and model?
Is it a dual-band router?
Please make sure you connect to the 2.4GHz wireless network and then follow the setup utility, it may happen due to being connected to a 5GHz network as example, which is not supported by the printer
