@Jonah28

Are you using the same model printer?

Did you try the steps mentioned in my previous post?

Keep me posted.

Hi folks,

This advice is for macosx. users.

Remembered having an issue like this with my last printer when changing the wi-fi password.

Best solution is to get a usb cable, plug it into your printer and laptop.  When you go into the printer options on a mac and open print queue tab, the web page configuration option will be visible and you can go in and edit the wi-fi password there.

Done.

This is crazy. I searched for factory printer reset instruction for over an hour! This is insane you do not public such information in a convenient for customer form! Disaster!!!!

Use WPS to connect the printer to your wireless network.

  1. Locate the WPS button on your router, but do not press it yet.

If your router does not support WPS, skip to the next step to connect the printer with the HP Smart app.

  2. Turn on the printer. If the printer is in sleep mode, press the Cancel button on the control panel.

  3. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button  for at least 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.

  4. On the router, press and hold the WPS button for 3 to 5 seconds or until it shows that the WPS connection process has started.

    NOTE:

The printer stops searching for a WPS connection two minutes after the wireless button is pressed. If you were unable to press the WPS button within that timeframe, attempt these steps again.

Once the printer connects to the wireless network, the blue Wireless light on the control panel turns on solid.

Let me know how it goes.

1. Connect your computer or phone etc. directly to you printer using WiFi, it should come up as DIRECT-e0-HP M15 LaserJet (or something similar) and enter PW (if you don’t know it hold printer cancel button till power button flashed to print details)

2. Enter printer IP browser: 192.168.223.1
3. and navigate through printer set up by selecting the following -> networking -> Wireless Configuration -> pick wireless net work “Network Name (SSID)” -> Authentication,
enter Passphrase (your network password) press apply … see “status” (on top) change over a couple of seconds

Notes: I think this printer one works on 2.5 GHz Network, and this is the most ridiculous way of changing the network 🙂
