Hi, as subject, after i've changed my hotspot, where I used to connect my macbook and M28w, I can't connect to my pronter anymore via wireless connection, I can only print via USB. I've downloaded HP Easy Start, but it doesn't fond any printer (printer is on and usb is disconnected), also, if I try to look for the Direct wifi connection I can't see that on my available wifi list.
Can someone help me please?
Tks a lot!

@zzapp, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
To assist you better, are you using a Hotspot connection or do you have a personal wireless router?
The printer may not work on a Hotspot connection.
To know how to connect the printer to the network, refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
- Make sure the printer and the Mac are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
- This printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method.
- Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.
Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.
Wifi Direct is used if you do not have access to a router. For more info, refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

firstly tks for ur answer,
my hotspot is always been my iphone x (and it's always worked with my mackbook-printer), now i've upgraded to iphone 12
1) when i try to look for wifi direct i can't see anything else on my wifi list except my iphone 12 hotspot
2) when i run hp easy scan it says to disconnect usb and it starts to look for an hp printer. i've tried both: with my macbook already connected to my iphone hotspot and without (hoping my macbook could find the direct connection from the printer)
but still can't find any printer
so now my only way to print is via usb

If you do not have access to a wireless router, then I suggest the use of a USB cable.
If you would like to use wifi direct, refer to the steps in this document - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)
Make sure the wireless feature is on. You may press the wireless button to toggle between on and off. Refer to page 4 on the user guide for more info.
Let me know how it goes.
