Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hp Ink Tank Wireless 415 will connect to internet and print but shows "Limited" on the connection.

Does this limit the printer operations or do I just ignore it??

Hi,

Do you refer to your printer or to your computer?

Where do you see any such limited error? on the printer front panel or on the computer itself? following which exact action taken?

For example, may you try to connect your computer to an HP-Direct network of your printer? any such would result a limited connectivity as a connection to a printer allow printing connection but no internet access, therefore it is limited..

Thanks for the reply The limited sign shows up on the laptop.  I can print but cannot set the Hp as the default printer. I have tried all possibe tricks to eliminate an earlier Epson printer but it still appears as the default.

When I try to change the printer and click on the wireless printer I get messages Not Recognised by windows

and others in the end just by insisting and clicking it finally pops into the active bar and will print.
