Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet 4133e lost internet connectivity mid-print while your iPhone stayed connected, it suggests the issue is isolated to the printer. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot:
Check Printer’s Wireless Status
- On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button.
- Look for a solid blue light:
- Solid = connected
- Blinking = not connected
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for 5 seconds. This will reset the wireless settings.
- Wait for the wireless light to start blinking.
- On your iPhone, open the HP Smart app:
- Tap Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer
- Follow the prompts to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Check for Dual-Band Wi-Fi Issues
- Ensure your printer is connecting to the 2.4 GHz band (not 5 GHz), as the DeskJet 4133e only supports 2.4 GHz.
Update Printer Firmware
- In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Tools > Printer Updates.
- Install any available updates.
Assign a Static IP (Optional but Helpful)
- This prevents the printer from losing its IP address after router reboots.
- You can do this via your router settings or the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
