Hello!

 

I have an HP LaserJet Pro M15w that isn't working correctly. My PC won't detect it via USB, and it hasn't been set up on WiFi. I think it's still in initial setup, where I would need to connect the USB cable to the printer and set it up with HP Smart or the driver software from the product support page for this unit.  I tried the firmware update from the computer, but there's no printer detected to send the firmware to. I know my PC USB port works because I've used it before, and I know the USB cable is good because I've used it before as well.

 

Both the power and warning icon are flashing in unison, about every 2 seconds. There aren't any pauses in the flashing indicating an error code. 

 

My first assumption is that the USB port is broken, and I may need to replace the board with the connections. Let me know if there's anything that can be done. Thanks!

I'm sure the printer USB cable is plugged in the correct way. The "attention" light and power button light blink.
