@Helpless-printe, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding How to Connect Your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28-M31 Printer to a New Wireless Network!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To connect your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M31 printer to a new wireless network, you can use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) method if your router supports it. Follow these steps:

Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

For printers with a Wireless button:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on your printer for three seconds until the wireless light blinks.

For printers with a control panel:

  • Navigate to the Network Settings or Wireless Settings menu.
  • Select Wi-Fi Protected Setup, then Push Button, and then Start.

On your router:

  • Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS button on your router for three to five seconds until the WPS light blinks.

Wait for the connection:

  • It can take a few minutes for the printer to establish a connection with the router.
  • Once the wireless connection is established, the wireless light on your printer will stop blinking, or a message will appear on the control panel.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
