Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have an HP M428fdw that when trying to set a Static IP on the Wired Network (IP: 10.10.0.x, Mask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 10.10.0.1) keeps reverting back to DHCP.

When you apply the changes, it comes back with Ok - Settings were applied.  However, IP/Mask/Gateway do apply, but cannot set it to Manual, it keeps going back to DHCP.

Also, when you do apply the Manual setting, the option to change the DNS (Automatic or Manual) is greyed out.

What gives??

Printer has the latest firmware installed.

Additional information:  Web interface keeps switching back to DHCP.  Looking through the Control Panel on the printer, it shows Manual (Static IP) and the IP I set it to, however, I cannot ping or access the printer on that IP
