we bought a HP LaserJet printer M139WE for my daughters dorm room there should be a sticker with a Mac number on the back, but there is not. So she can’t hook up to the Wi-Fi so we can’t print out an information sheet to get a Mac number. How do we get a Mac number?

HP Recommended

Do not connect to the router or modem.  Print from the PC / smartphone / tablet directly to the printer using Wi-Fi direct.

Wi-Fi direct is explained on page 20 of the User Manual for the 139
