Hello 

 

I have a new network printer "Color LaserJet pro MFP M183fw" which is connected to our corporate network via copper. When I log into the Web interface there is no SMTP menu item to setup secure scan to email username/password, port 587 etc through our enterprise email gateway. I am after confirmation if this model of printer can or can't support scan to email via this method. Without having to install a software bundle on each users desktop, as users generally send scan to email via the printer to an email addresses of their choice through the printers address book at the printer console.

That printer model doesn't support scan to email.

 

Available scanning options can be found in the printer specifications.
