This printer has been a stable part of my home network and performing more or less perfectly for several years. Suddenly, as of yesterday, no other device - laptop, desktop, mobile - can detect it. The printer is definitely connected to my network and showing "excellent" signal. I have run a Network Summary report and Wireless Network Test Report. Everything shows as in order. I note however that it fails to connect to HP Web Services via hard control panel (says "no internet" but there's perfect internet). Printer sees and connects to network fine but network cannot see the printer.
What I tried so far:-
- Hard reset of the printer (pressing the corner of the touch display) and reconnecting to WIFI. No change.
- Removing printer and trying to re-add it in Windows. Fail. Not found on wireless search or via IP address.
- Firmware update (none)
- Driver update (none)
- Connecting via WiFi Direct. Prompt appears on display with 8 digit password but the laptop/pc will not complete connection.
I can only print via USB presently.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
