Hi @RonT60,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e All-in-One Printer can print Word documents from your MacBook Air but not Google Docs, there may be issues related to your Google account settings or browser compatibility. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Check Printer Settings in Google Docs

  1. While in Google Docs, click on File > Print. This will open the print dialog.
  2. Ensure that the correct printer (HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e) is selected. If it's not listed, click See more to choose the printer.

Check Google Chrome Printing Settings

  1. Ensure your Google Chrome browser is updated to the latest version.
  2. Go to Settings (three vertical dots on the upper right) and then select Advanced > Printing > Printers to make sure your printer is correctly set up.

Clear Cache and Cookies

Sometimes clearing the browser cache and cookies can resolve printing issues:

  1. Go to Google Chrome settings.
  2. Click on Privacy and Security.
  3. Select Clear browsing data and clear the cache and cookies.

Reconnect the Printer

  1. Remove the printer from your system and add it back:
    • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    • Select your printer and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
    • Add it back by clicking the plus (+) button, and select your printer from the list.

Update Printer Drivers

Ensure your printer drivers are up to date:

  1. Download the latest drivers from the HP website.

Use HP App

If the issue persists, try setting up the printer using the HP App. It can sometimes resolve connectivity issues that native settings cannot address.

If the problem remains unresolved, the HP Support Page can provide additional assistance and troubleshooting steps specific to your device and configuration.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
