HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer

Printer stops printing the 2nd document saying output bin is full - this only recently started happening. Why? Was there a recent software upgrade? How can I fix this - its a nuisance. Thanks

Hi @sscox76,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It's possible that there may have been a recent software update or change in settings that is causing the issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025. To troubleshoot and resolve the problem, you can try the following steps.

  • Check Output Bin: Make sure that the output bin is not physically full. Remove any printed documents from the output tray.
  • Printer Reset: Power cycle the printer by turning it off, unplugging it from the power source, and waiting for about 1-2 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
  • Update Firmware/Software: Visit the official HP support website and check if there are any firmware or software updates available for your printer. If there are updates, download and install them, as they may include bug fixes that could address the issue.
  • Print Queue Management: Clear the print queue on your computer to ensure that there are no stuck print jobs causing the error. Cancel any pending print jobs and then try printing again.
  • Driver Reinstallation: Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer and then reinstall them. You can download the latest drivers from the HP official website.
  • Check Print Settings: Ensure that the print settings, especially those related to paper type and size, are correctly configured in both the printer and the print driver.
  • Paper Sensor Check: Make sure that the paper sensor in the printer is not obstructed or malfunctioning. Clean the sensors if necessary.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
