I previously was connected wirelessly to the network but when I try and connect it now I get a message that the ethernet cable is  not connected and to make sure it is connected at both ends.   I have never had an ethernet cable connected and it does not allow me to get past this message to access the network set up.

I’ve tried many other fixes including turning off and on router, reconfiguring ports and installing fix doctor among many other options. Nothing works. It was working fine about a week ago.

This did not help.  It keeps asking for Ethernet cable.  I've never used an ethernet cable.  I've spent hours and hours trying to reconnect my printer doing every type of fix imaginable.  The printer acts as if it doesn't have wireless capabilities...it doesn't give me the option to find the network or anything like that.

Restart the printer and the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions. Restore Wi-Fi setup mode. Most printers with a touchscreen display or menu: Open the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
