@IanMac100, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP DeskJet!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
A constantly flashing power light on your HP DeskJet 2620 All-in-One Printer usually indicates an issue that needs troubleshooting. Here’s how you can fix it:
Check for Error Messages
- If your printer is connected to a computer, check for any error messages on the screen.
- Open the HP Smart app (if installed) to see any specific error codes.
Check the Ink Cartridges
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the ink cartridge door and check if the cartridges are installed correctly.
- Remove and reinsert them properly.
- If the ink levels are low or an error message indicates an issue, consider replacing the cartridges.
Check for Paper Jams
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the paper tray and look inside for any jammed paper.
- Gently remove any stuck paper and ensure there are no tiny bits left behind.
Restart the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Reset the Printer
- With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back.
- Unplug it from the wall outlet.
- Wait 60 seconds, then reconnect everything and turn it back on.
I hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
