HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

My HP Deskjet 3755 wireless printer won't connect to wifi after I recently changed out the wifi tower.  It has power but the wifi light is blinking.  I have tried turning it off and on and holding down the wifi button to see if that would reset it but still cannot connect and it continues to blink.

HI @Sammiek47,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When you change your WiFi network hardware, such as a router or WiFi tower, your printer might lose its connection because it was configured to connect to the previous network. To reconnect your HP Deskjet 3755 to the new WiFi network, follow these steps:

Reconnect HP Deskjet 3755 to WiFi

Reset Network Settings on Printer:

  • Steps:
    • Turn on the printer.
    • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for 3 seconds. This should reset the network settings.

Connect Using WPS (if supported):

  • Steps:
    • Ensure your WiFi router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and is enabled.
    • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for at least 3 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking.
    • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router. The printer should connect to the network, and the wireless light should become solid.

Connect Using HP Smart App:

  • Steps:
    • Ensure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same WiFi network you want the printer to connect to.
    • Download and install the HP Smart app on your device (available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android).
    • Open the HP Smart app and click on the Plus sign to add a new printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your printer. The app will guide you through connecting the printer to your WiFi network.

Connect Using HP Printer Software:

  • Steps:
    • Download and install the latest version of the HP printer software from the HP website.
    • During the software installation, choose the option to set up a new printer and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your WiFi network.

Manual Wireless Setup (via Printer’s Embedded Web Server):

  • Steps:
    • Connect your computer or mobile device to the printer’s WiFi Direct network. This network is usually named "HP-Setup-XXX".
    • Open a web browser and type 192.168.223.1 in the address bar to access the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS).
    • Go to the Network or Wireless settings section.
    • Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to connect the printer to your WiFi network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
