I've restored the network settings, ran the wizard, and tried to create a new wireless connection between the HP printer and my wireless network (Mac OS). The printer is working (printing instructions) but I can't establish a connection with my computer, my iPhone, or my HP work computer.

Hi @MIF69,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet 4650 isn't connecting wirelessly despite restoring network settings and running the setup wizard, you can try these additional troubleshooting steps.
Check Printer and Network Settings
Verify Printer Network Status:
- Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer's control panel. This will show you the current network status and IP address.
- Ensure the printer is connected to the correct network.
Check Network Connectivity:
- Confirm that your wireless network is functioning properly and that other devices are connected.
Restart Devices
Power Cycle Printer:
- Turn off the printer, wait for 60 seconds, and then turn it back on.
Restart Router:
- Unplug your router, wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back in.
Restart Computers and Devices:
- Restart your Mac, iPhone, and HP work computer.
Update Printer Firmware
- Check for Updates:
- Go to HP's website and see if there is a firmware update available for the OfficeJet 4650. If so, follow the instructions to update the printer.
Reconfigure Wireless Settings
Use HP Smart App:
- Download and open the HP Smart app on your Mac or iPhone.
- Follow the prompts to reconnect the printer to your wireless network.
Manual Wireless Setup:
- Go to the printer's control panel and navigate to the wireless setup menu.
- Select your network and enter the password manually.
Check Printer IP Address
- Use IP Address for Connection:
- Open your printer's IP address in a web browser to access the printer's web interface and confirm settings.

Remove and Re-add Printer
- On Mac:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select the OfficeJet 4650 and click the minus (-) sign to remove it.
- Click the plus (+) sign to add the printer again.
Firewall and Security Settings
- Check Firewall Settings:
- Ensure that your firewall or security software is not blocking the printer's connection.
Reset Printer to Factory Defaults
- Factory Reset:
- As a last resort, reset the printer to factory defaults. This option can usually be found in the printer's settings menu.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the printer's wireless module.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
