My HP Printer keeps saying it's offline. I unplugged, waited a minute, plugged back in and it still says it. I also have an Epson next to it and it has no problems regarding offline. What else can i do to fix it?

If your HP printer keeps showing as offline, even after restarting it, here are the most effective steps to bring it back online:
1. Check Printer Connection
- Wi-Fi Printer: Make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or phone.
- USB Printer: Try a different USB port or cable.
You can print a Network Configuration Page from the printer’s control panel to confirm the connection.
2. Set Printer to “Online” Manually
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP printer > See what’s printing.
- Click Printer in the top menu and uncheck Use Printer Offline.
3. Set as Default Printer
- In Devices and Printers, right-click your HP printer and select Set as default printer.
4. Restart Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click, and choose Restart.
5. Reinstall the Printer
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Remove the HP printer.
- Re-add it using “Add a printer or scanner”.
6. Update or Reinstall HP Smart App
- Download the latest version from the HP Smart App. HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store.
