My HP OFFICE JET 8015e Refuses to print colour. It's four months old and has not encountered this problem before. I've cleaned the heads and checked the path of the cartridges. Unplugged the printer, and reset my computer but still no colour.

What else can I do?

Hi @Langara,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing print quality issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8015e printer.

Please follow the steps listed below to clean the printhead.

On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.

A test page prints.

Examine the test page.

If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. If necessary, repeat these steps for the third cleaning cycle.

Note: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.

If the print quality is acceptable, touch Done.

I Hope this works.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for replying. I did all that several times, still with no results. Finally, I replaced the new cartridges with another new set and THAT worked. The heads were cleared and the printer worked again. I feel that it must have been a defect in the cartridges. Even cleaning the heads, with the second set of cartridges, sounded different.  Problem solved. Thank you.
