Product: HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer - H711n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I brought my HP6700 out of storage and when I turned it on an error message came up with a problem and told me to contact HP.  I contacted HP and they tried to troubleshoot but they cannot find the printer on my internet.  That is because the printer is linked to my old wi-fi and I cannot correct it because I am locked out of my printer by the error message.  What can I do?  What happened to the days when you could call an HP tech and talk to someone?

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting errors on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
