My M110W printer will not connect to my home Wi-Fi. It did connect at first for only one document page, now it will not print again. The blue Wi-Fi light is on and solid. I just spent 55 minutes on the phone with HP support, and the agent was absolutely useless. She had me unplug and re-plug the printer seven times, she had me restart the printer over and over again, she had me reset the printer manually over and over again, she had me doing the same actions again and again and again and again using the HP Smart app. After 55 minutes of this useless repetition, she hung up on me. She promised to call me back if the call was disconnected, and she has not after waiting another 30 minutes. Can anybody help me reconnect my M110W printer to my home Wi-Fi, please? Thank you!

Hi @Steven_1- ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the trouble you’ve been having with your LaserJet M110w and the frustrating support experience. Let’s try a few troubleshooting steps that might help re-establish the connection to your Wi-Fi:
Verify Network Requirements:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network has a 2.4 GHz connection. The LaserJet M110w typically doesn’t support 5 GHz networks, which might be causing issues if your router is set to that frequency.
Forget the Printer in HP Smart App: HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
- Open the HP Smart app on your Chromebook and remove the M110w printer if it’s listed. This will allow you to re-add it with a fresh configuration.
Check Printer Status:
- Since the blue light is solid, it should mean the printer is connected to Wi-Fi. However, to double-check:
- Print a network configuration page by pressing and holding the Wireless and Information buttons simultaneously (refer to your manual if needed). This page will show the connection status and the IP address.
Re-add Printer on Chromebook: HP printer setup (Chromebook)
- On your Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Select Add Printer, and your M110w should appear in the list if it’s on the same network. Select it to add.
Check Router Settings:
- Restart your router and printer after verifying the frequency setting (2.4 GHz). Sometimes, a simple router reboot can resolve IP conflicts and connectivity issues.
Manual IP Connection:
- If the network configuration page shows an IP address for the printer, try accessing it directly:
- Type the IP address into your browser to access the printer’s embedded web server. Here, you can confirm if it’s still connected to Wi-Fi and test its connectivity.
Perform a Factory Reset on the Printer (if needed):
- If all else fails, perform a factory reset by pressing the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously until the Wireless light blinks. This will reset network settings so you can reconnect it from scratch.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
