Product: HP Officejet Pro 8610
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

My Mac Pro lost connection with my HP printer.

 

1) I deleted it from it from my Printers in System Preferences. 

2) I then clicked the + at the bottom of the printer window and

3) in the pop up window the HP isn't there

4) Stumped

 

Interestingly, my windows laptop sees it and prints to it no prob.

 

I had been printing on this HP now for a couple years no problem. My Mac just de-linked.

 

I'm using the same Mac OS as when I bought the HP so there can't be any driver issues that I can think of from an install.

 

Any ideas?

Please restart your router and allow the internet connection to return, then restart both the printer and the Mac, make sure the Mac is connected to the same network too and check for any difference.

 

May you see any change following the restart?
