I have not made any changes that would affect the wireless connection. The printer is offline and when I try to connect all the features are locked. When I try to unlock it, it asks for a username and password. I enter these and it tells me that the username or password is incorrect.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @Melsbooks,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Restart Printer and Router:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your WiFi router.
- After the router has fully restarted, plug in and turn on your printer.
Check Network Connection:
- Ensure that both the printer and your computer are connected to the same WiFi network.
- You can also check the network status directly from the printer’s control panel.
Reset Printer Network Settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings to reset the wireless settings.
Reconfigure Wireless Connection:
- On the printer, access the Wireless Setup Wizard via Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your WiFi network again.
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure that your printer is set to online.
- On your Windows PC, go to Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and ensure that Use Printer Online is selected.
Check if Printer Proclaims 'Admin Locked':
- If the printer features are locked, you will need to unlock them using the correct administrator username and password.
- If you have forgotten or never set these credentials, you may need to perform a printer factory reset.
I hope this helps.
