HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer

My computer says my printer is offline when I try to print a document.  However, the printer and HP Smart both show it is online and the wi-fi is on.  What would cause my computer to not find the printer?  AND, how do I fix it?

Hey there! heres a few things you might wanna try. Restart Everything so Begin by turning off your printer and computer. Wait a minute, then turn them back on. This can often reset the status or what not
Check Printer Settings make sure your printer is set as the default printer and that ‘Use Printer Offline’ isn’t selected.
Clear the Print Queue: Sometimes a stuck print job can cause issues. Clearing the queue might help.
Printer Software: Use HP Smart or the printer’s software to diagnose and fix issues.
Update Printer Driver: Visit the HP website, find your printer model, and download the latest drivers.
Check Network Settings: Ensure that both the printer and computer are on the same network.
Disable SNMP: Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) status might need to be disabled in printer properties under the ‘Ports’ tab. Glad i could help
