Recently, my HP printer would not print NOR could I connect to any internet sources (Google for email, Amazon, nothing...). After troubleshooting for several days, I discovered an email from HP (via my phone since the computer would not connect to email) informing me that my monthly printer cartridge billing was not processing (on a credit card that I've recently cancelled due to a scam attempt). So, it appears that my computer (which is now working properly after changing the credit card on my HP account) was being held hostage by HP, not just for printing but also for access to the internet.  is that standard HP practice...and has anyone else experienced this issue?
