My HP printer isn’t working all of a sudden. I have to unplug it intermittently but now it doesn’t work at all I purchased it a year ago and have regretted it ever since.

@Lame-printer25, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Printer that is not working!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Since you mentioned unplugging it intermittently, it sounds like there might be a power or connectivity issue. Here are a few things to try:

Power Reset

Unplug the printer from the power source and remove any USB cables.

Wait for about 60 seconds.

Plug it directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector) and turn it on.

Check Connections

If it’s a USB connection, try a different port on your computer and a different cable if possible.

If it’s a wireless printer, restart your router and reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor HP Official Tool to detect and fix common issues automatically.

Update or Reinstall Drivers

Since you're using Windows 10 (32-bit), check if the printer drivers need an update.

Go to HP official website, download the latest drivers, and reinstall them.

To get a better idea of what’s going on, could you help me with a few details?

Is the printer displaying any error messages or blinking lights?

How is the printer connected—USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet?

Have there been any recent Windows updates or changes to your system?

Let me know, and we’ll take it from there! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
