I recently got a new century link modem (replacing an old centurly link modem)  I had already had this Office Jet Pro 8020 series printer which worked just fine with the old modem.  When we installed the new modem it would not find it.  We tried everything and followed all the instructions to restart everything and it still wouldn't find it.  We thought is was a problem with the printer... so.... we took it back and got a brand new one.  Alas I am setting the new printer up and we are having the same issue!  It just will not find the modem no matter what we do.  

 

Help!  I need to print for my job!

@Johnson_L2P, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

To reconfigure the printer, follow the steps from the document HP Printers - No Connection after Router or Wi-Fi Settings Change.

 

Additionally, refer to the document Connect to a Wireless HP Printer for help.

 

If you still have issues, use the guided troubleshooter Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center for instruction to isolate and resolve the issue.
