My new printer's NIC card has failed. Until I can get it fixed I'm using a USB cable to print. However, I'm unable to automatically send printer data to HP Instant Ink using USB. Is there a way I can manually report this data until I get my NIC card replaced?

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

 

To answer your question , there is no way apart from wifi that you can update the ink levels to HP instant ink, however if you want to order inks you may log in manully and order, you may also use your HP smart app.
