Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer's error light!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Restart Everything (Soft Reset)
Turn off the printer
Unplug your Wi-Fi router for 30 seconds and plug it back in
Turn the printer back on once the Wi-Fi is fully restored
Sometimes a simple reset fixes sync issues 💁♀️
2. Check Internet Connection
Make sure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi (not guest network or mobile hotspot)
On the printer, press the Wi-Fi and Information button together to print a Network Configuration Page
Look for Connection Status: Connected
If not connected:
Press and hold Wi-Fi + Cancel buttons for 3 sec to reset network settings
Reconnect using HP Smart app
3. Turn Web Services Off & On
On the printer: Press the Information and Web Services buttons together to print the Web Services Info Page
Go to the IP address listed on that page in your browser (printer’s Embedded Web Server)
Disable Web Services
Wait 30 seconds, then re-enable Web Services
It’ll refresh the printer’s sync with HP’s servers.
4. Update Firmware
Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.
