Hi @CoyoteMama,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing issues with your printer's WiFi connection. Let me help you with some troubleshooting steps that can guide you through resolving this connectivity issue:

Troubleshooting Printer WiFi Connectivity

Check the Physical Connection: Ensure all cables are properly connected to both the printer and the router, even if using an Ethernet connection temporarily. Sometimes reconnecting these can help reset certain settings.

Restart Devices: Turn off your printer and router. Wait for about 10 seconds, then turn them back on. This can help refresh network connections.

Network Settings Reset:

  • Access the printer’s onboard menu and navigate to the settings or network options.

  • Look for an option to "Restore network settings" or "Reset wireless settings" to factory defaults.

Network Configuration:

  • Ensure that your printer is within range of your WiFi network.

  • If your printer has a touchscreen panel, use the "Wireless Setup Wizard" in the menu to reconnect to your WiFi network.

Firmware Update: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP Support site to check for any available updates for your printer model.

LED Indicator Check: Inspect the status lights or LED indicators next to the network ports on the printer. Proper LED activity needs to occur for a successful network connection.

Replace Network Cable: If using a wired connection and you see issues with the Ethernet button only, try replacing the network cable with a new one.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.
