Hi @Larry6491,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One printer suddenly stopped printing and now won’t reinstall on your Windows 10 computer, here’s a step-by-step guide to get it working again:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug it from the power source for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
2. Remove Old Printer Drivers
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on the HP Smart Tank 6001 and select Remove device.
- Then go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall any HP software related to the printer.
3. Download and Reinstall the Latest Software
- Visit the official HP driver page:
👉 HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support - Download the full feature software for Windows 10 (32-bit).
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Use HP Smart App (Optional but Recommended)
- Download the HP Smart App for Windows.
- Open the app and follow the prompts to add your printer.
5. Check Connection Type
- If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your PC.
- If using USB, try a different USB port and cable.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
