1. Check for Error Messages:
- Ensure there are no error messages on your printer software. Follow any onscreen instructions to resolve these errors.
2. Connectivity Issues:
- If connected through USB, disconnect and reconnect the cable.
- If connected wirelessly, ensure the wireless connection is functioning correctly.
3. Verify Printer Status:
- Ensure your printer is not paused or offline by checking through your computer's printer settings.
Windows:
- Click the Start menu and select Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer icon and choose See what's printing.
- Ensure there are no check marks next to Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline.
Mac OS X:
- Open System Preferences and click Printers & Scanners.
- Click Open Print Queue and verify no print jobs are paused.
4. Set as Default Printer:
