Hi @SANSmart,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that your HP ENVY Photo 7858 printer is stuck on the loading screen. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Unplug the power cable from the printer while it's still on.
- Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cable back into the wall outlet.
- Plug the power cable back into the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open all doors and access panels on the printer.
- Look for any paper jams or obstructions and remove them if found.
- Ensure all paper trays are properly loaded and not overfilled.
Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the ink cartridges and check for any protective tape that might still be on them.
- Reinsert the ink cartridges and ensure they are properly seated.
- Close the ink cartridge access door.
Check for Firmware Update:
- If the printer eventually starts, check if there's a firmware update available.
- Go to the HP Support website and search for your printer model to find firmware updates.
- Follow the instructions to update the firmware if available.
Try a Different Power Source:
- Unplug the printer and try plugging it into a different power outlet.
- Avoid using power strips or surge protectors; plug it directly into a wall outlet.
Reset to Factory Settings (if accessible):
- If the printer interface is accessible, navigate to the printer settings and perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
